Carly & Stu’s wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm
As a San Luis Obispo wedding photographer, I love getting to drive down the Santa Barbara Carly and Stu had such a beautiful wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm with the most amazing clear blue sky! The wedding ceremony was full of love and laughter. The officiant, a close friend of the couple, said wonderful words of wisdom that had the guests in tears. Carly was breathtakingly gorgeous in her white gown and Stu was dashing in his navy blue suit. The flowers were perfect for this summer wedding with touches of yellow, orange, and pink. Guests arrived in a custom black school bus that had the couple’s names on the side which was such a sweet personal touch. Parasols were provided to keep guests comfortable in the beautiful sunshine.
Cocktail hour featured a beautiful seating display with bandannas and guest got to explore the greenhouse at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm which was so beautiful and full of natural light, which as a wedding photographer is my dream! The decor was simply gorgeous and the flowers were breathtaking. The couple had a live band which played a great selection of music, making sure everyone was having a great time. The food was amazing. The seated dinner had a selection of seafood, beef, and vegetarian dishes. The couple had several special moments during the reception, including the traditional cake cutting, the first dance, and the bouquet toss. After the delicious dinner, the couple snuck off for some sunset photos overlooking the rocky coastline.
The night ended with everyone on the dance floor, enjoying the music and dancing the night away. It was truly a magical night and one that I will never forget. I am so glad I was able to be part of this special day and capture all the wonderful memories. Carly and Stu had a beautiful and extravagant wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm that will be remembered for years to come.
